Face from Battersea High Street Royal Wedding Party
Battersea was the place to be at the Royal Wedding in July 2011. BBC London 94.9 FM were broadcasting live from Battersea High Street all day, celebrities were spotted up and down the high street.
- Oysters and champagne, plus food from the Caribbean, France, Ghana, India, Mexico, Morocco and Thailand
- A celebration ale brewed especially for the event by Battersea’s own Sambrook’s Brewery
- Live music and dance from Africa, Columbia, Ireland and New Zealand
- Facepainting by Jenny Sunshine and Sandra and Hadas, helping raise money for local charity, Katherine Low Settlement.
